Background
The Mahabharat is not a story about choosing right over wrong. It is about choosing when both paths violate something you value — the situation dharmic thought calls dharma-sankata, a crisis of duty. Arjuna at Kurukshetra, Yudhishthira at the dice game, Karna choosing between the friend who raised him up and the brothers he only just learned were his.
Krishna's guidance is procedural rather than a rulebook: understand what is actually yours to do, act on it fully, and do not pretend that refusing to decide is neutral. Not choosing is a choice with consequences of its own.
