Expectation Is the Ground of Every Relationship

The foundation of all a person's relationships is expectation. What should a husband be? One who fills my life with comfort and ease. What should a wife be? One who stays forever devoted to me. What should a child be? One who serves me and obeys my command. A person can love only the one who fulfills his expectations. And the destiny of expectation is to be broken. How so? Because expectation is born within a person's own mind; no other person can even come to know of it. Even where there is a sincere wish to fulfill them, no one can fulfill another's expectations — and from there struggle is born, and all relationships turn into conflict. But if a person were not to make expectation the foundation of a relationship, and instead made acceptance — acceptance alone — its foundation, then would this life not fill of itself with happiness and peace? Reflect on it yourself.

मनुष्य के सारे सम्बन्धों का आधार है अपेक्षा पती कैसा हो जो मेरा जीवन सुख और सुविधा से भर दे पत्नी कैसी हो जो सदेव मेरे प्रती समर्पित रहे संतान कैसी हो जो मेरी सेवा करे मेरा अदेश माने मनुष्य, मनुष्य उसी को प्रेम भी कर पाता है जो उसकी अपेक्षा पून करता है और अपेक्षा की तो नियती है भंग होना कैसे? क्योंकि अपेक्षा मनुष्य के मस्तिष्क में जन लेती है कोई अन्य वेक्ति उसकी अपेक्षाओं के बारे में जान ही नहीं पाता पून करने की प्रमाणिक एक्षा हो तब भी कोई मनुष्य किसी की अपेक्षाओं को पून नहीं कर पाता और वहां से जन लेता है संघर्ष सारे संभंद संघर्ष में परिवर्तित हो जाते पर मनुष्य अपिक्षा को संभंद का आधार ना बनाए और स्विकार करे केवल संभंद का आधार तो क्या ये जीवन स्वयमेव सुख और शान्ती से नहीं भर जाएगा स्वयम विचार कीजेगा
